The city was a maze full of people and shops. I got lost with my friends for hours in the city and I would not have it any other way. The deeper we got into the city the less it became touristy and the uniqueness of the city became more prevalent. We found beautiful handcrafted masks, leather pieces, puppets and so much more. I stepped out of my comfort zone by getting lost in the city but I never would have seen the unmasked side of Venice.
